Dr Helen Lewis is an environmental consultant specialising in product stewardship and sustainable packaging.
Helen works for a variety of clients in government and the private sector to promote design for sustainability and increased recovery of products and packaging at end of life. Consulting services include:
- research – product stewardship, circular economy, recycling, waste management, environmental impacts of products and packaging, design for sustainability
- strategy and policy development – product stewardship, packaging stewardship
- communication – business guides, handbooks and case studies
Helen has published widely on product stewardship and sustainable packaging. Her most recent book, Product stewardship in action: the business case for lifecycle thinking, was published in 2016.
Helen is an Adjunct Professor with the Institute for Sustainable Futures at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP).
